Tartare Café + Wine Bar is celebrating Valentine’s Weekend this year with a special Valentine’s Day Menu for €39 per person which is available from the 14th to the 16th of February.

Tartare Café + Wine Bar’s cosy, intimate setting and European-inspired décor makes it the perfect spot for an intimate Valentine’s date for two, where couples can enjoy JP McMahon’s signature style of contemporary Irish food.

To kickstart the romance guests will be greeted with a Gin, Meadowsweet and Rhubarb Cocktail on arrival, before being presented with Irish Charcuterie and Farmhouse Cheese, Pickles and Compote to share and enjoy together.

Diners can then select two dishes from the following selection which all draw on a wealth of in-season West of Ireland produce, including Beef Tartare, Pickled Onion, Smoked Egg; Celeriac, Mushroom Broth, Pickled Seaweed; Ham Hock, Cabbage, Smoked Potato Foam; Burren Smoked Salmon, Mustard Seeds, Sea Beats; Baby Beets, Blackcurrant, Kale; and Beef Cheek, Smoked Black Pudding, Potato. The menu finishes on a sweet note with Chocolate and Woodruff Mousse and Salted Caramel.

Tartare Café + Wine Bar’s key focus is on organic and biodynamic wines and offers a carefully-curated natural wine menu. The Valentine’s Day Menu will be available from the 14th to the 16th of February.
